Liaison to government officials and managing project applications for General Plan Amendments, Zoning Changes, EIR’s, Tentative Maps, Master Plans, CUP’s and other discretionary reviews in Southern California cities and counties and with the California Coastal Commission.

Community Relations
Identification and resolution of community issues as they relate to achieving client objectives. We have successfully used the mutual gains approach as described by the MIT/Harvard Program on Negotiation with environmental groups, homeowners, residents and the business community.

Media Relations
Proactive management, strategy and message development. Our approach has been successful in ensuring our clients receive balanced and accurate coverage. In addition, we have a successful track record of making sure our clients receive coverage and generate media interest for their issues.

Policy Issue Management
Issues affecting all aspects of land use planning, such as affordable housing, air quality, economic, fiscal issues, etc.

Project Presentations
Preparation of PowerPoint presentations for public hearings and community meetings. Presentations include but are not limited to project overview, site photos, architectural renderings, key points and community issue slides. These presentations have proved to facilitate project review and expedite approvals.

Direct Mail/Collateral
Conceptualization, writing, list/database management and label services. Oversee graphic design, printing and production management.
